This stunning creation showcases remarkable creativity and dedication, taking around 7 hours to craft. It’s a fantastic example of bringing comic book magic to life!
This giant Hulk balloon is actually worn as a puppet. The performer inside the costume is attached at the waist, with their feet positioned in the feet of the Hulk. Both arms are controlled using PVC pipe arm rods.

This particular piece was the first large balloon the sculptor created for a comic convention. It stands approximately 14 feet tall and took around 8 hours to finish.
This piece also holds significant meaning because the late Felix Silla, who played Cousin It in the original Addams Family show waited for nearly an hour for the sculpture to be completed so he could take a picture with it. Felix was extremely kind and encouraging; his words motivated the balloon sculptor and affirmed that there was a place for his creative work. Felix's encouragement let the Balloon sculptor know there was a place for what he was trying to do
This Superman balloon took approximately 4 hours it was designed to experiment with new concepts following Dc comics announcement of their new dc 52 initiative.
Once completed, the balloon sculptor utilized airbrush paint to add shadows, giving it a more weathered appearance and steering it away from a cartoonish look. After finishing the piece, it was taken to several shops for photographs and was featured during Free Comic Book Day at a local comic book shop.

An incredible life-size balloon of the legendary Stan Lee was created for a special event at the Hall of Heroes Comic Museum, and the excitement surrounding it was palpable! Stan Lee even sent his crew to feature this fantastic tribute on one of his web shows. In response, the museum immediately connected with the talented balloon sculptor to craft something truly special for both the show and for Stan himself. Here’s a touching personal experience: about a year after Stan Lee’s passing, while working at a comic book convention, a crew member approached me with an exciting question. He asked if I was the artist behind the balloon and shared that they had shown Stan pictures and videos of it, which he truly admired. In fact, Stan had intended to send me a thank-you letter for my work! Sadly, shortly after that conversation, Mr. Lee passed away. Although I never received that letter, knowing that someone as inventive and inspiring as Stan appreciated my effort means the world to me. I felt so grateful to hear that story, and it brought a smile to my face.
With time running short, the sculptor jumped in his car, checked into a nearby hotel, and worked tirelessly through the night to bring this heartfelt tribute to life. The show, hosted by the charming Adrianne Curry, was titled "Super Fans." The Hall of Heroes Museum was featured in episodes six and seven, with the stunning Stan Lee balloon making a memorable appearance in episode seven, showcased in the upstairs section.

Mike was not only a great person but also a dedicated history teacher. This piece stands as a heartfelt tribute to his memory and the joy he brought to the community.

I absolutely love connecting with the creators of my favorite characters, and back in the '90s, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were my all-time favorite cartoon. Meeting Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of the Turtles, was such a thrill! I even had the chance to make him a Michelangelo figure for someone in his family. It was an unforgettable experience!

A fun project is in the works for a youth group from the 1960s as they prepare for their reunion, filled with nostalgia and shared memories. The story takes us back to their youth group days, where their leader, a school bus driver, would take them on adventurous excursions using school buses. Unfortunately, those buses had a knack for breaking down, leading to plenty of moments where their leader could be spotted with his head buried under the hood, working tirelessly to get the engine back in shape.
